Major Storm Damage 5-12-22 If the over abundance of rain wasn't bad enough this wind storm/tornado damage has got us stressed out! Thankfully we're all safe and everything on the farm can be replaced. We lost our cold storage shed and at least 1 grain bin. Mostly all of the equipment stored in the shed was also damaged.

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Thank you all for the kind words!! They are greatly appreciated! We will be alright. Luckily the machinery we need for planting will be back up and running very soon. We have awesome viewers 😁
I’ll tell ya, when Zach first went out to the cold storage shed and seeing his reaction, my heart absolutely sunk. I’m sorry for the losses Zach (and everyone effected) that’s tough stuff to see😔
Wow, about 8 minutes in and Zach sees the damage, just crushing. What a resilient family. I don’t view this as whining, this is America, and the struggles that our farmers face. Thank you Zach and family!
Zack and Becky this video puts a pit in my belly. I’m watching you assess the damage and I’m thinking how is he not breaking down? Then I saw your dad and his positive attitude like yours and thought that’s how. You are amazing. By far the best line was, “Your golf clubs tipped over.” Best of luck to your family on the rebuilding!
Dude I’m sorry about this I know how hard you’ve worked for all this stuff and just for some winds too throw it all away this is the most pain I’ve seen you in. I hope you can get this all back
Praying for you and your family. Hoping you can get get it all cleaned up and get back to some sense of normalcy. Glad your family didn’t get hurt in the storm.
I’m just glad you guys are all right! Equipment can be replaced, but still, it’s heartbreaking to watch the damage. I know Midwest will get you up and running in no time 💪
I’m sorry for what you have all lost during this major storm but I’m glad everyone is okay
Sorry for you loss Zack and Dad. Stay strong and good luck!

I’m sorry for your loss Zach. We’ve had a few of those in Iowa. We finally have had luck in planting approx 50% as of this writing. Hope your insurance goes without problems!!
Thoughts are with you all whilst you get this all sorted. Jim will have it all done for you asap!
Glad no one was hurt, sorry for your damage. Sending prayers for good weather and a quick recovery! 🙏🏻🙏🏻😎😎
