"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." - Michael Jordan
Basketball isn't the same without MJ. I recorded every game of the Bulls and Michael. They're on DVDs now so every once in a while I'll relive the excitement of watching him play, it's awesome.
I really don’t know how people can debate on GOAT status. This clip says it all. Every player has an off night but MJ the only one I know that when it’s time to turn it on, can flip a switch and single handedly will his team to victory. It was one on five and MJ won!
Sad story, I watched just about every game of the 1997-98 season with my dad along with the playoffs and finals, except this game, I was with my mom and siblings at the nearby playground and kept telling my mom "we gotta go, the bulls are on" but she kept talking with her friend, then finally left, got home and my dad is on the front porch smoking a cigar and I just knew the Bulls won, I go inside and NBC just kept playing the last shot over and over...I missed the last shot😭😭
I was there live I remember the arena being loud and crazy the whole game when Michael hit that shot I never see the energy sucked out like that before grown men were crying kids were crying women in awe people jumping up heading for the exits people frozen in the crowd a silence went over the arena I’ve been to Super Bowls World Series Stanley Cups this the most cold blooded shit I’ve ever seen bless to had witness history and greatness
Still gives me goosebumps till this day. I lived those years with everything I had. This is why he was Mike, that's why they were Da' Bulls! Best years of my life as a sports fan. Chicago Bulls always!
The last 3 minutes of that game shows why Jordan is the greatest ever. They needed every point, he got to the line and made all 4 free throws, got the steal off his missed 3 pointer. And to not clear to get the steal from Malone was just having bball iq.I mean damn he played both sides of the court. BBall IQ, defense, offense and that killer instinct. So he had 8 points and 2 steals in 2.5 minutes
