Think it was probably more the way he said it. Nothing to lose a friend over either way but barkley wasnt just making a point. He was making it in a way you wouldnt expect from a friend. He could of simply said he needs to change up things rather than saying he surround’s himself with ass kissers

I think, what Jordan was mad about was that his friend had to say in front of thousands of people on live television. Instead of just talking to him. Whether it was true or not is not the problem. It’s the fact that you bring attention to it publicly instead of talking to him and giving him the advice and help he needs to do a better job.

It wasn't what Chuck said, but how he said it. It was bush league imo. It's something you tell him in private. Not put on tv and blast for the whole world to see. Remember that they come from a different era where privacy was heralded. Narratives played an even more important role back then because there was no social media to clap back on. That type of mentality is engraved in these players, and folks like me who grew up in that era.

I was skeptical from the get about the title of the video. Highly competitive people tend to be brutally honest and from the outside it seems like they're being rude, disrespectful etc.

@Robert Roberts "A lot of people don’t want the truth. Family and friends will blame you for being truthful" I think that is true. Sometimes a person just isn't ready for certain truths. A friend of mine talks about speaking the truth with love. She is very honest to me and I appreciate it and value what she has to say. She constantly comes up with things I hadn't considered. I think I give back to her also and hope it isn't just a one way relationship. Getting to point of having that kind of trust and openness took time and effort though it has been well worth it. I'm very glad she's a part of my life.

The truth is you don't lose money that you never had. Kemba gained a 142M CONTRACT. He lost nothing but the unrealized potential of 18M which he elected to decline. Thus Kemba was the sole responsible factor in any potential 'loss' he took with his own decisions.

Kemba was offered 160mil/5years to stay there that is a hell of an offer by the Hornets.
